Where to Find the Deal For Cheap Rental Car Prices
Everyone wants to find cheap rental car prices for their car rental. With a bit of research, it is possible to find the cheapest price for an economy, mid-size, full-size, or van vehicle. While there are many car rental companies, some are consistently less expensive than the others, and will ensure that customers get the best deal available.
Saving Cash with Enterprise Car Rental
Enterprise Car Rentals has more than 6,000 car rental locations throughout the United States, and their prices are consistently lower than competition. They offer everything from economy vehicles all the way up to Mustang convertibles and full-size 12 passenger vans. Economy vehicles range in price from $35 to $45 per day, depending on the make of the car (which is usually confined to either a Chevy Aveo or Nissan Versa). Minivans are also available from Enterprise, with prices at an industry-low of $120 to $150 per day for a Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country.
Avis Car Rentals
Although Avis Car Rental’s prices may not always be the lowest, more often than not they offer a coupon that lowers the rental car price by 10, 20, or even 30 percent from its retail rental value. Economy vehicles are available for $40 per day, full-size cars start at $50 per day, standard sizes are $55 per day, and minivans are generally $125 per day. Avis Car Rentals also offers coupons to any pilots, military (active or reserve), students, seniors, AARP members, and AAA members, and more values are available for renting during the winter months or on weekends.
Alamo Car Rentals
Alamo Car Rentals is a strict competitor of Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and offers both cheap rental car prices and numerous last-minute coupons and specials. Car rates run from $36 for economy class-sized cars, $40 for standard sized, $79 for premium cars, $99 for SUV vehicles, and $140 for pickup trucks. In addition, Alamo offers prepay values, in which customers get up to 20% off the retail rental price of a vehicle by simply prepaying for a rental online. They also offer discounts to students, seniors, active and reserve duty military, and AAA members.
National Car Rentals
While not always the cheapest, National car rentals are the most available in most cities, as the company has locations in almost all of the 50 states. National also offer the convenience of bypassing the car rental counter at an airport for those who prepay for a vehicle online, allowing drivers to quickly slide into a rental car and go. National Car Rental prices are generally $40 for an economy car, $42 for a mid-size car, $43 for a standard, and $80 for a Dodge Grand Caravan minivan (the cheapest price for this class). Customers can also save $25 if they rent a vehicle for a whole week.
Getting a cheap car rental isn’t hard – it just requires some research to find a great deal. Be patient, look for as many values and coupons from rental companies as possible, and you can save money on your car rental to spend on other more important things.
